Council Tree Powwow and Cultural Festival

The 2007 Council Tree Powwow and
Cultural Festival is Sept. 14-16. The festival
is cosponsored by the City of Delta and the
Ute tribes. Enjoy tribal dancing from a
wide array of Native American tribes.
The event features intertribal competitive
dancing from about 20-30 tribes from
all over the United States.
In addition to dancing, there is
American Indian food, and arts and crafts
such as jewelry, Katchinas and paintings.
Admission is $7 per day for adults or
$15 for all three days, $3 per day for children
ages 7-12 and $6 per day for seniors.
Parking is $2 for the weekend.
