Portions of the association’s impressive
collection of more than 250,000
coins, tokens, medals and paper money
from around the world are displayed in
the museum.
The multimedia Bass Gallery houses
the Harry W. Bass collection of
American gold coins, experimental pattern
coins and paper money.
Items on display range from the
reale, a Spanish coin struck in the
Mexico in 1536, to the 1804 dollar and
the 1913 “Liberty”nickel.
There also is a collector’s library and
the Hall of Nations with jumbo 3-D renderings
of the world’s coins.
