The Colorado History Museum of
Denver should be one of the first stops
for visitors wanting to learn more about
the state’s colorful history.
The museum’s public relations director
Rebecca Laurie said visitors will get
the full breadth of what has transpired
in Colorado history including exhibits on
the first people of Colorado and contemporary
exhibits about recent
Colorado history. Also displayed for the
public, are the museum’s collection of
historical and pre-historic artifacts and
documents.
“Visitors have the opportunity to discover
the diversity of Colorado,”she said.
The museum also is home to the
Colorado Historical Society’s research
library, which offers history buffs access
to the state’s historic
photos
and documents.
On Saturdays,
children 12 and
younger get in for
free.

History
Museum of
Denver
hours of
operation are
Monday
through
Saturday from
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from
noon to 5 p.m. Admission for adults is
$7, $5 for seniors and students, and $5
for children ages 6-12 except on
Saturdays. Members of the museum get
in for free and are offered special events.
