The only year-round dinner theater in the state, the Country Dinner Playhouse offers Broadway musicals, murder mysteries and regional premieres.

This season will feature performances such as “Evita,”“Phantom of the Opera”and “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.”Dinner includes an all-you-can-eat buffet with items such as salads, meats and side dishes. A bar service and dessert are also available.

Prior to the main show the Barnstormers vocal group provide a pre-show with songs and dances from famous musicals. They also act as hosts and hostesses for dinner theater guests.

Performances are given on a theater-inthe- round stage, keeping all 470 audience members close to the action.

Shows are performed Wednesday through Sunday evenings and matinee performances are performed Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Seating for matinees begins at noon for a 1:45 p.m. show. Seating for evening shows with a start time around 7:45 p.m. begins at 6 p.m. Times may vary slightly in November and December because of a holiday schedule. The box office is open Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The theater has its own parking lot for patrons.
